表5.9の全ての手法で出力を得られた文を比較し, 精度を調査した. 精度調査の結果を表5.10に示す. 精度調査の評価基準を以下に示す.

出力文の精度が従来手法と比べ低下した原因は, 未知語出力用のABCCテーブルの使用である. 提案手法が従来に使用していたABCDテーブルを削除した場合, 提案手法後の変換テーブルを利用した 翻訳では, 従来とは異なる学習文対を使用する例が存在した. 表5.31は従来手法の例である. 表5.32は提案手法後の変換テーブルを使用した手法の例である. なお, 表5.32の出力文は日本語選択後, 英語選択後, 日本語 & 英語選択後の変換テーブルを利用した手法 すべてにおいて共通していた.

提案手法である変換テーブル選択は, 表5.31のABCDテーブルを削除した. よって, 表5.32では表5.31とは異なる学習文対を使用している. また, 表5.32では従来手法が使用していないABCCテーブルを使用している. つまり, ABCDテーブルの削除による, 異なる学習文対の使用がABCCテーブルの使用を引き起こす. 結果, 提案手法後の変換テーブルを使用した場合, 出力文には未知語が増加し従来手法と比べ精度が低下する.
