We have been evaluated English translated sentences both the accuracy and the fluency. We believe that accuracy is related to translation model 2#2. Thus, we made long phrase tables to achieve higher accuracy. In similar languages like English and German, the difference in word position is small. In such a case, short phrase tables poses little problem. However, in Chinese to English translation, verbs are sometimes moved from their original position. Therefore, we needed to make long phrase tables.
